Privacy Policy
Effective and Last Updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Humanize AI ("Humanize AI", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use the Humanize AI mobile app or website. Humanize AI is operated by an independent developer based in Poland.
1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It
- Anonymous account and device information: when you first use the app, we create an anonymous, device-linked account. We receive a device identifier and store an internal user identifier, onboarding status, AI permission status and timestamps, and daily feature-usage counts. We do not ask for your name, personal email address, or phone number to use the app.
- Submitted content: we collect text you type, paste, or import; text extracted from a PDF or Word document; and images you capture or select when you choose to use a tool. Content may contain personal information if you include it, so please avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
- Reports and generated content: we collect the generated response and report details, including scores, labels, summaries, sentence-level findings, rewrite suggestions, transformed text, model/provider information, and report timestamps.
- Subscription and paywall information: Superwall and the applicable app store provide information such as anonymous app identifiers, device/app information, paywall interactions, entitlement or subscription status, and purchase-related events. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Support information: if you contact us, we collect the contact details and message you provide so we can respond.
2. Third-Party AI Processing
On iOS, Humanize AI does not send your submitted content to a third-party AI provider until you see an in-app disclosure and affirmatively tap Allow & Continue. Declining does not send the content; the requested AI feature simply does not run.
On Android and other supported platforms, choosing to run an AI tool or Scan initiates the processing described below without a separate AI-sharing permission screen. The text, extracted document text, or images you choose to submit, together with the instructions necessary for the selected tool, are sent to Replicate. Replicate runs Google Gemini as the primary model. If that model is unavailable, Replicate may run an OpenAI model as a fallback. These providers process the content to produce the report, analysis, humanized text, paraphrase, correction, email, or summary you requested.
On iOS, you can review or withdraw this permission at any time in Settings → Sharing Data with AI Services. Withdrawal applies to future requests and does not undo processing that already occurred. If you later use an AI feature, the app will ask again before sending new content.
3. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only as needed to provide the app, when you request the relevant feature and, on iOS, grant the required permission, to comply with law, or to protect rights and safety. Our service providers may use data only to provide their services to us and must maintain the same or equivalent privacy and security protection described in this policy.

4. How We Use Information
- Authenticate your anonymous device-linked session.
- Provide the writing tool or image-text tool you request.
- Save and display your private report history across sessions.
- Apply free-use limits and provide Premium entitlements.
- Process purchases, restorations, and eligible refund requests.
- Secure, debug, maintain, and improve the app.
- Respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.
We do not use submitted content for advertising and do not sell it.
5. Storage and Retention
- Your anonymous account record, AI permission record, saved input, generated reports, and saved scan images are stored in Convex for as long as needed to provide your history or until you delete them, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal-retention needs.
- A PDF or Word file uploaded for text extraction is deleted from temporary Convex storage after extraction. The extracted text is kept only if you then submit it and a report is saved.
- Third-party AI providers retain and handle request data according to their service terms and published retention practices. See the provider links above, including Replicate's prediction data-retention documentation.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
- AI permission: review, grant, or withdraw it under Settings → Sharing Data with AI Services.
- Individual reports: open a report from History, tap the trash icon in the top-right corner, and confirm.
- All report history: tap the Delete Your Data card in Settings and confirm. This deletes saved reports, submitted content, generated content, and stored scan images from active app storage.
- Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us at contact@savuko.com. We may need information that lets us locate your anonymous device-linked record.
See our Privacy Choices guide for step-by-step instructions.
7. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transport and access controls. No system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
Humanize AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and change the date above. For questions or privacy requests, email contact@savuko.com.
